Who Should Attend
Existing business owners interested in expanding in the government market. Any business interested in doing work for the federal/state/local governments, Millennials, emerging entrepreneurs and startups interested in learning what successful companies are doing and how they’re doing it.

1) WHAT IS THE COACHING PROGRAM FOR BEGINNERS?
Created by WACommerce & Government Contractors Association, the Coaching Program for Beginners (CPB)  is a (3) three-month program designed to help small businesses prepare their companies to bid on government contracts and/or understand why they are not winning government contracts. We can help identify insufficient areas in your business profile & operations. Through this program, you’ll get online coaching sessions, training videos, step-by-step tutorials to equip you in winning contracts, and guidance on how to navigate the contracting industry. No more than ten companies will be selected for each program cycle.

2) WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM ENTAIL?

• One-on-one "Kick-off" session
• Review of your current contracting status and your goals in the program
• (3) months Group Mentor Coaching Program
• Weekly training sessions.  These sessions are web meetings and conference calls designed to prepare your company for winning contracts. Topics will include marketing strategies, relationship building with government agencies, business assessment, SWOT or TOWS analysis, sourcing opportunities, capability statement creation, contract reviews, discuss capital funding options.
• Assignment of weekly tasks
• Accountability for completing all tasks
• Fast Track Software.  A government contracting software that provides weekly action items, training models, forms, documents, tracking capabilities and many more features

3) WHAT KIND OF COMMITMENT IS REQUIRE?
We require that you commit the appropriate resources to the Coaching Program for Beginners (CPB). We require that companies invest 4 hours (or more) each week towards the program. We also require that weekly action items be completed on time.

5) HOW MANY COMPANIES WILL BE IN THE PROGRAM?
Up to ten (10) companies will be selected for the program cycle. By keeping the program small, we cultivate an interactive environment that fosters growth and success.  You’ll have the benefit of live instructions from the business coach and also group interactions from each other.

7) WHAT DOES IT COST TO BE IN THE PROGRAM?
To participate in the program requires an investment of $1,050 for WACommerce members. For non-members, the program costs $1,497. If you’re a smaller business, ask about our installment plan.
