Kenn Rivers has worked for the Government for over 28 years in various roles. Kenn is a Service Disabled Veteran and business professional with senior level experience in Business Development and Marketing Intelligence. Kenn is a Contract Specialist, Certified Professional in Business Intelligence, Certified Advanced Social Media Strategist, Lean Six Sigma consultant and was an Operations Manager in the U.S. Army. He has over 12 years experience in marketing and business development and a degree in Business Management. Based on Kenn’s business success as the owner of a web development company, Kenn was selected for a nationwide pilot program with a Fortune 500 Company & Deloitte & Touché Fast500 which was highly successful.

As a founding member of WACommerce Kenn takes that Fortune 500 knowledge and experience along with his work ethic from the military -that is “Failure is Not an Option!” This attitude and determination has carried him throughout his life.  A background as a Contracting Specialist & Purchase Cardholder, Kenn consultants businesses through the process of finding and securing local contracts. WACommerce focus is on helping businesses develop & grow their business in the government marketplace.

Over a successful 24 year military career Kenn has held positions as a Military Policeman, Military Police Investigator, Procurement Officer, Purchase Cardholder, Division Training Instructor, and Special Forces as an elite Green Beret.

His private sector experience includes Marketing & Sales Manager, Management Analyst, Business Consultant, Business Owner, Contractor with General Dynamics, a Criminal Intelligence Analyst for the Thurston County Sheriff’s office & Washington State Patrol, and Lean Six Sigma Advisor before developing WACommerce.

In his spare time, Kenn spends time with his family & soccer, is a Board Member of the Washington Scuba Alliance, and advises local Nonprofit organizations on how to secure funding at no cost through the use of new programs which pay nonprofit organizations for particitapting month after month year after year...
